Kaiser Permanente Northern California has been on a journey to build a robust succession and competency program over the last two years. Currently developing Role Profiles for each role in this structure which are mapped to the NAHQ competency framework to assure we have solid, well-rounded capabilities in each position. These are part of our onboarding orientation tools and staff development programs. NAHQ Workforce Accelerator has provided us with robust analytics, that have allowed us to develop meaningful and ongoing individual development plans as strategic leaders can be kept informed on the broader or pockets of opportunities that exist.
